There are many articles and pictures in Gather about this type of stuff and no central place to put them. So I created this group for just that. Please post your articles or images about dinosaurs, fossils, planet formation, rocks, and life on Earth from past to present here. Perhaps you recently went to a museum and found interesting things to share or discuss.
Life on Earth has taken many forms in the past 4 billion years to what it is today. So lets see and read about it together in all its wonder. From microbes to cave men, to today's great whales, all is welcome. The planet itself is as a living entity, ever changing in form and should also be included. Cave exploration, volcanic eruptions, plate tectonics, ocean currents and erosion all show the changes to this blue marble of ours every day. All I ask is we try and stay on these varied and interesting topics, as well as not getting political in nature. Articles or images not following these guidelines may be deleted at my discretion, thanks. My Other Groups- Links
